1. Introduction
PipForge ("we", "our", "us") is a daily domino logic puzzle game developed by Bradley ("Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use PipForge (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Display Name: You may set a display name for leaderboard entries. This is optional and does not need to be your real name.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Player ID: A randomly generated unique identifier (UUID) stored locally on your device. This is used to identify your leaderboard submissions and is not linked to your real identity.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for analytics, ad delivery, and service reliability.
- Gameplay Data: Puzzle completion status, time, number of moves, hints used, and streaks. This data is used for analytics to improve the game experience.
- Purchase Information: Whether you have purchased PipForge Premium. This status is stored locally on your device.
2.3 Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:
Google AdMob (Advertising)
- Collects device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
- Used to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements

Firebase Analytics (Analytics)
- Collects anonymous usage data (app events, session duration, device info)
- Used to understand how users interact with the App

Apple App Store / Google Play Store (In-App Purchases)
- Handles payment processing for PipForge Premium
- We do not have access to your payment information (credit card, billing address)
- Payment is processed entirely by Apple/Google
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Provide the Game Service: Generate daily puzzles, track your progress, maintain streaks and statistics
- Leaderboard: Submit and display your display name and score on the daily leaderboard when you complete a daily puzzle while online
- Analytics: Understand usage patterns to improve gameplay, fix bugs, and plan new features
- Advertising: Serve ads (interstitial and rewarded) to support free access to the App
- In-App Purchases: Process and verify your Premium purchase status
4. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Your game progress, statistics, streak data, player ID, and purchase status are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
- Server Storage: If you complete a daily puzzle while online, leaderboard data (display name, player ID, score metrics) may be stored on our server infrastructure for up to 90 days.
- Share Links (if enabled): If a server-based share link feature is enabled and you use it, shared puzzle result data may be stored on our server infrastructure for up to 30 days.
- No Account System: The App does not require account creation, email, or password. There is no login system.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only with the following third-party services as described in Section 2.3:
- Google AdMob: For serving advertisements
- Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage analytics
- Apple/Google: For processing in-app purchases
6. Advertising
6.1 Types of Ads
- Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown after puzzle completion, frequency-capped (configurable)
- Rewarded Ads: Optional video ads you choose to watch in exchange for extra hints
6.2 Ad Personalization
- On iOS, ad personalization may be subject to App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and platform settings
- If tracking permission is not granted, non-personalized ads may be shown instead
- You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device Settings
6.3 Removing Ads
You can permanently remove all interstitial ads by purchasing PipForge Premium (one-time purchase). Pricing is shown by Apple App Store / Google Play Store based on your region and currency. Rewarded ads remain available as an optional feature even after purchase.
7. Children's Privacy
PipForge is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data
- Opt-out of Tracking: Decline ad personalization via iOS ATT or Android ad settings
- Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format

Since the App primarily stores data locally on your device, you can delete all local data by uninstalling the App. Server leaderboard entries are retained for up to 90 days. If server-based share links are enabled and used, related share data is retained for up to 30 days.

The App uses Firebase (Google Cloud) and AdMob services, which may process data in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of data to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
