1. Introduction
Recurio ("the App") is a home maintenance management app developed by Bang Ca. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Key principle: Your data stays with you. Recurio is a local-first app — all data is stored on your device. We do not operate any server that stores your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data stored locally on your device
All of the following data is stored only on your device using SQLite and is never sent to our servers:

2.3 Data we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address (unless you voluntarily add them in task notes)
- We do not track your location
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers
- We do not use your data for profiling or targeted advertising
3. Google Drive Sync
- Google Drive sync is entirely optional. The App works fully offline.
- When enabled, your app data is synced to a dedicated folder in your personal Google Drive.
- We access Google Drive with the minimum required scope (
drive.appdata). - Your data is stored in your Drive account — we do not have access to it.
- You can disconnect Google Drive at any time in Settings. Your data remains on your Drive until you delete it manually.
4. Notifications
- The App uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming maintenance tasks.
- Notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device.
- No notification data is sent to any external service.
- You can disable notifications at any time through device Settings or within the App.
5. Photos
- Photos you attach to completion logs or assets are stored locally on your device.
- If Google Drive sync is enabled, photos are included in the backup to your personal Drive.
- We do not access, view, or process your photos on any server.
6. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to:
- Understand which features are used most
- Identify and fix crashes and bugs
- Improve app performance
This data is:
- Anonymous — not linked to your identity
- Aggregated — we only see trends, not individual behavior
- Minimal — we collect only what's needed to improve the App
7. Data Retention
- Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Google Drive data: Retained in your Drive account until you delete it manually.
- Analytics data: Retained by Firebase per Google's data retention policies (default: 14 months).
- Crash reports: Retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
8. Data Security
- Local data is stored in a private SQLite database accessible only by the App.
- Google Drive data is protected by your Google account security.
- We do not transmit your personal data over the internet (except to your own Google Drive when sync is enabled).
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data at any time (all data is visible within the App)
- Delete your data by deleting individual records or uninstalling the App
- Export your data via Google Drive sync
- Revoke Google Drive access at any time
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
